Easiest way to update to the current Ruby version

Easiest way to update to the current Ruby version

But this command alone will not garantue that you really get the latest version and everything is correctly installed / activated. Therefore I would advise the following 7 steps:

1. Get the latest version of the rvm software

2. Get the lastest version of Ruby

3. Look for the version number of the latest Ruby

4. Make this Ruby version your current and default Ruby (in my case it was 2.3.1)

5. Make sure the latest installed version is current and default

And the result should look like this:

6. By making another Ruby version your default you have to install bundle for that version

7. Bundle all gems

Now you have updated your Ruby version, RVM and all gems in 7 simple steps.
